UPS and USPS

My husband has been on a 10 day vacation and will be arriving either today or tomorrow.   Prior to his departure I started ordering items from Ebay and Etsy so that all packages would be here before he came back.

UPS just came and delivered a huge box, 3 ft x 2 ft  It's a huge bean bag for her newborn photo sessions.   Between her and I, the UPS and USPS love us this month.   My daughter does bartering w/etsy shops, she does great photos of there product and in return she keeps one item that she can use as a prop.   Each person wins.

So, my orders on ebay has been for china, for a big tea party photo shoot she is doing this summer.   It's a slow process to get these orders here.  I'm still waiting on 2 and they where paid for on 4/6.   My last box that arrived this week came in several hundred pieces..ugh!!  So now I get to ship back broken stuff.  Don't know why I should.  Just refund me my money and I'll send you the pictures of the stuff.

Then there are my etsy purchases....   I only have 2 coming.  One I am very excited to get.  I had hope it would arrive today, sad it did not and the other one will be shipped next week.   So  I guess he wont see the bulk for my orders...     :)

New project

Well I did not sleep well at all last night due to my baby (Avery - 4 legged).  She was up and down, wanted to go outside... It drove me crazy and now I am sleepy.

But when I did wake up this morning I thought about trying something different with my flowers.    So, I started working on them and have 4 already put together just a few minor things to finish them off.  

These are gonna be shabby chic.  Can't wait to get a picture of them

Tax Time and kids

Okay so today is April 14th, one day till the big 15th when Uncle Sam has his hand out. 

I have a 20 yo who owes because she did not listen to us when we told her "your getting tips, you better save $$ so you can pay taxes on that CASH your getting".   Well,  2 months ago I completed her taxes,  and this year the IRS is allowing you to send a request asking for your balance to be forgiven or reduced.

I reminded her several times to "submit" that request  and this would allow the IRS to review her request and make a determination.     Well, the submit button was pushed last weekend, 5 days before the money is due.  She is looking at her email everyday to see if the IRS accepted it and forgiving her for her portion.   I tried to explain to her that the IRS does not work that fast and to get that check ready.

Well, as of today no check has been written, taxes has not been printed.  And she will FORGET to do this.  I told her it needs to be done by the 14th.   She is a very forgetful young lady and it's never her fault.  @*#(@&!!#@

Etsy and kids. Trying to do both

Have you ever pulled your hair out because your trying to work on a craft or posting on Etsy and your kids wont let you.   How about, they take your stuff and don't remember "where" they put it.  

My kids are 2 boston terriers (age 2 and 6 months) and 2 adult girls.   One of the adult girls will have a blog all to her own soon.   I have to get some of my frustration out her!  So, I'm gonna blog
